Become a Community Volunteer Champion
Our Volunteers are the heart of our community and we wouldn’t have the facilities and programs we have without them.
From Rainbows, Brownies and Saturday morning football training to tidying some of our beautiful countryside,
our Volunteers always go the extra mile. Our highly successful Youth Club was started in 2014 by a few dedicated mums
and dads that wanted somewhere safe for their kids to go. NOW, the Youth Club caters to over 40 children per session from
Tean and the surrounding area. The Youth Club boasts two qualified Youth Leaders supported by Checkley Parish Council,
however without the dedicated Volunteers who give up their time to support these leaders the Youth Club wouldn’t happen.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Volunteer Champion then please contact
Siân Morgan-Owen the Parish Clerk on info@checkleyparishcouncil.co.uk or 07840 456 397.
Please state which area you are interested in volunteering in and Siân will point you to the correct contact.
